Nigeria Senate today refused to confirm the nomination of Mr Ibrahim Magu as the chairman of Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC.
The Senate however disclosed that the move became imperative as a result of corruption indictment and human rights abuses levelled against him in a report submitted by the directorate of state security.
It should be noted that this is the second time his nomination was been rejected as the head of the anti graft agency by the Senate.
